Islander Beach Resort
Situated on the alluring white sands of New Smyrna Beach, the Islander began as a full service Best Western Hotel in 1972 featuring, effiency suites, a beauty salon and gift shop.
In 1984, the Islander changed hands. Over the next several years the Islander was transformed into a 114 unit timeshare condominium.
The Islander Beach Resort has been recognized as either a Resort of International Distinction or Silver Crown Resort by Resort Condominiums International (RCI) for the past 27 years and is considered by many to be the premier family resort in the area.
Residents look forward to the daily fun filled family activities and relaxing in one of our four heated pools and therapy spas. From catching a sunrise or to people-watching from our expansive pool deck with see through windbreak, the Islander Beach Resort is the perfect seaside location to enjoy the soft sand of New Smyrna’s beach.
The Islander Beach Resort is here for the long term. The Association completed a $4.6 million renovation to improve the resort up to new hurricane standards. We offer banquet facilities, weekly and daily rentals. We are proud to have the Islander Salon and Spa and the Islander Beach Café & Oyster Bar.
